2018 Events

 

We don’t go to events in January as we won’t be back at work until 15th.  After that, we spend time planning the year, getting ready for Spring Fair and making sure the unit is looking ship shape again after a hectic few months.

 

Spring Fair Birmingham NEC 4-8th February (Retail Only)

Spring Fair is the UK’s No.1 trade show for gift and home products, bringing visitors and exhibitors together across 14 show sectors, under one (rather large) roof at the NEC. Making real-life connections with new and existing suppliers, this is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your buying season, Spring Fair showcases the best products, launches and inspiration that over 2,500 UK and international exhibitors have to offer.

Vegfest Brighton 24th-25th March

VegfestUK returns to the South Coast after 9 years at one of the nation’s biggest concentrations of vegan food and products.  In 2018, there will be a slight makeover of featured areas to go along with the usual vibrant mix of stalls and culinary delights at our first event of 2018 at Brighton.

Northern Vegan Festival Manchester 7th April

This festival is proudly partnered with Viva! and will have 200 stalls, talks, cookery demos, children’s activities, yoga, free samples and a huge seated cafe area. Entry is £5 payable on the day on the door (under 14’s free) – 100% of ticket money goes to animal welfare charities as the festival is fully volunteer run or £15 for advance fast track tickets to include a goody bag packed full of products, samples, discounts and offer available in advance from northernveganfestival@gmail.com

Great Yorkshire Vegan Festival Leeds Town Hall 16th-17th June

The Great Yorkshire Vegan Festival – proud to be partnered with Viva! is a bi-annual festival that celebrates veganism, and educates that veganism is healthy, affordable and fun. We are a 100% volunteer-run event and all proceeds go to animal welfare charities such as Miracle’s Mission that helps to rescue, rehabilitate, neuter and re-home stray and vulnerable animals.

Join us for a fantastic day full of yummy vegan food, ethical shopping, live entertainment and lots of fun!

Vegfest London 27th & 28th October

This will be the 6th VegfestUK annual event at Olympia London and is expected to attract around 14,000 visitors with around 250 stalls including specialist vegan caterers, bars, lifestyle stalls, information and campaigns.  It will follow on from VegfestUK Trade.

Manchester Vegan Christmas Market 17th & 18th November

80 fantastic stalls each day, world food caterers, exciting cookery demos, inspirational talks, interactive workshops, yoga and children’s activities running throughout the day from 10.30am – 4.30pm at Sachas Hotel, Manchester.

 Entry is £3 payable per day on the door (under 16’s free) or £15 for VIP tickets in advance from Eventbrite to include fast track entry and a goody bag full of vegan products, samples, discounts and offers.

 

Hull Animal Welfare Trust Christmas Market November Date TBC

One of our chosen charities and a sure fire bet that our stall will be within chocolate brownie and nacho distance of the Blondes of Cottingham stall – one of our favourite businesses.  This Christmas market has around 30 local businesses selling food and gifts and it’s a great way to help raise money for this wonderful charity.

Winterfest – Great Yorkshire Vegan Festival Leeds Civic Hall December 8th 2018

The 2018 Leeds WinterFest Vegan Christmas Market will take place in Leeds Civic Hall right in the heart of Leeds City Centre on Sunday 2nd December 2018 from 10.30am – 5pm. The Civic Hall is just a 5 minute walk from Leeds train station.
 
There will be 60+ fantastic stalls offering a wide variety of vegan produce, including cakes and chocolate, hot takeaway food, make up, clothing, pet treats and cheese.

 

 

Compassionate Derby  December 8th 2018

Compassionate Derby is one of the loveliest vegan events of the year. There will be over 40 stalls selling an exciting array of vegan food, drink, treats and life

style products, animal rescues and lots of other compassionate campaigns for animal rights, human rights and environmentalism. There will also be engaging talks and vegan cookery demos, free samples and much more!  Come and experience the compassionate side of the East Midlands for yourself, and invite all your friends, vegan, veggie and non-veggie alike! There will be something for everyone. With over 1,000 visitors through the door last year, it’s an event not to be missed!
